Questions & Answers
How often do you meet?
Our pack meets monthly and individual dens meet once/twice per month depending on rank. Most months also include a pack activity organized at an outdoor location near Tempe/Chandler.
Where do you meet?
We meet Kyrene de la Mariposa Elementary School in Tempe, AZ. To promote social distancing, we are utilizing our outdoor meeting facility at Desert Breeze Park in west Chandler.
What are Cub Scout ranks?
Within Cub Scouting, kids go through different age-based ranks. Each rank challenges youth to complete milestones tailored to their age group. Cub Scouts complete activities with other kids their age.
What are packs and dens?
Dens are small groups of Scouts who are in the same grade or are the same age. This is the group Cub Scouts meet with most frequently. There are several dens in a “pack.” As packs meet, kids of a wider range of ages showcase what they’re learning in their dens. That means outdoor fun, skits, games, songs, and award ceremonies happen with a wide variety of Cub Scouts and their families.
