What Activities?
In addition to our Den and Pack meetings, we have several special events throughout the year. This includes: Camping (Fall and Spring), Rocket Derby, the Pinewood Derby. We also attend some Council events.
How Often?
We meet as a Pack once every month between Aug and Apr/May. You will meet with your Den (e.g. Tiger, Wolf, etc.) once or twice a month. Parent volunteers meet once a month (or so) as well.
How Much?
Annual dues are $264 or $279 if you choose to add Scout Life magazine. This includes the national ($85) and council ($50) fees, an admin fee of ~$5, and a Pack 472 fee of $125** billed separately to cover books, scarves, facilities, activities, etc.
Why Scouting?
The Cub Scout program along with our special events: builds self-esteem, increases confidence, develops a sense of belonging, teaches values and responsibility, strengthens family connections, and more.
Who can Join?
Cub Scout Pack 472 is officially chartered by the Kyrene de la Mariposa PTO, but boys and girls from all area schools are welcome to join. The entire family is welcome at our Pack meetings and special events.

** Why do you charge Pack Dues?
Our Pack chooses to forgo traditional Scout fundraising activities like selling popcorn, camp cards, etc. We do this by charging a small annual fee and do hold a few small fundraising events.
