Our annual rocket derby is always an exciting event. The boys work on their rockets weeks ahead to not only blast them off in front of their friends, but to compete in the competition for the most creative design. Awards go to rockets in several different categories and are judged by an impartial panel of parent volunteers.
This year’s derby was a windy one, but with some careful adjustments by leaders we were able to proceed and have an exciting event. Congratulations to all of the Cub Scouts that won awards and to all who participated. A special thanks to parent volunteers who made this a success!
